Sequilla Carter

Dr. Sequilla Carter, DNP, APRN received her master’s degree from Nicholls State University and completed her doctoral studies at Southeastern Louisiana University in Nursing Practice. She has over 25 years of healthcare experience ranging from staff nurse to Chief Nursing Officer. She is credentialed as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a native New Orleanian who safely evacuated her patients during hurricane Katrina and proudly served in the US Army before moving to the northeast. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Saint Joseph and serves on the Editorial Board for Nurses Publication Magazine. Through continued coursework and professional development, she started her own private practice specializing in both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment of people across the life span with affective and thought disorders.
